Apollo Drones Academy provides a full-service professional drone education and flying practice programmes. These programmes are to guide and coach the participant to equip the necessary skills to be autonomous pilots. Our programmes prepare the participant to take and pass the CAAS unmanned aircraft operator permit test for the multirotor UA category.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) Issued an Operator Permit to Apollo Drones Academy in early 2016. Since then, we have been training candidates to pass the flight assessment conducted by the CAAS.
In June 2020, Apollo Drones Academy launched the Unmanned Aircraft Basic Training (UABT) portal - as the first and only appointed UA Basic Training Organisation (UABTO) in Singapore appointed by the CAAS to deliver UA Basic Training (UABT).
In December 2020, Apollo Drones Academy became a CAAS approved Unmanned Aircraft Training and Assessment Organisation (UATO), with the new framework of training and licencing for UA, only approved UATO can provide UA training and assessment for the Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL).
