Apollo Drones Academy teaches how to fly drones
Our curriculum enables beginners to acquire enough confidence and the skills to pass the practical evaluation that is required by the CAAS if one wants to operate a drone in a professional context in Singapore
As we are registered with the WDA, participants to our program can use their credit from the SkillsFuture program to pay for the course
We operate mainly for Corporations who send group to us, but we welcome individuals as well
We have an hourly rate option, but skillsfuture credit cannot apply to seminars that don't bring the participant all the way to taking the CAAS practical evaluation
Prior to laying hands on a remote control, our staff delivers a 15 minutes introduction session to tackle generalities about drones:
-Some terminology proper to drones
-How it works
-How to safely operate them
-What is specific about Singapore
We organize that our participants will fly our material during four sessions of 90 minutes each. During the sessions, participants will practice different geometrical patterns to control the machine adequately.
If you take the 15 minutes intro, you are guaranteed to fly the machine for 5 hours and 45 minutes under our program.
We advise our participants to take the program in 4 consecutive days so as to build on the progress made and get it over with !
It is important that participants get exposed to technicalities about the drone but also its related administration in Singapore:
During the workshop we look over many aspects:
-the remote control with all its features and options,
-the software assistant and drivers to change settings of the operating process
-the administrative context in Singapore for Operator License and Activity permit requests
